Wanaka Body's Tawna Woods is a qualified personal trainer based in Wanaka, New Zealand. 


Wanaka Body is all about leading a healthy lifestyle and ensuring you feel good about yourself. I am 100% dedicated to helping you achieve the goals you set and pushing for better results with real-world habits for good health and well-being. 

My ultimate goal is to get every single person that trains with me into a confident, healthy, strong, state of mind. To feel happy in your own skin, in your mind and body.

I started my journey into fitness soon after having my daughter. After gaining 15kg, I felt like I was stuck in a bit of a rut so I gave myself a complete overhaul. I got into fitness and started nourishing my body with wholefoods and became the happy, healthy woman I was before. I wanted to help other mothers like myself become confident again. I wanted to share with other mums how this changed my life and how it could benefit them, so I started fitness sessions where kids were welcome to come along and play while their mamas got sweaty. It gives me so much happiness to see these women smile and smash goals. It's the most rewarding job ever. 

After that, I then wanted to extend my classes to men and woman, kids or no kids, offering high intensity boot camp style training sessions catering for any level of fitness. I now run 6 sessions a week for people of all walks of life, with all kinds of personal goals. My aim is to create a fun and supportive environment and to develop habits that will last a lifetime. 

I truly pour my heart and soul into Wanaka Body. I am continuously striving to grow and am always looking for new, fresh ideas to offer our community. I believe that if you have the passion, dedication and drive, you can achieve anything, and I want to share this with as many people as possible. I want everyone to be the best versions of themselves that they can be. We are all in this together!
