What is it that I actually do?
My area of expertise is a certified trauma and nervous system informed breathwork facilitator and trauma informed sensual embodiment coach and kundalini activation facilitator. I am also trained in devotional touch massage and healing bodywork
How I support you-
I support people to release and let go of what no longer serves them, to surrender what was never theirs to carry. To liberate to connect them back to themselves and their true essence. To empower them to be the best versions of themselves where self love is embodied at a deep level. To call in the life of their dreams, the one they know they deserve
My why-
Is to share my gifts with the world to be of service to others on their path to healing. To create a safe space where you feel heard, seen, safe, held, understood and loved exactly as you are. To connect you back to your inner child. To empower you to believe in yourself and take charge of your own healing, so you know that healing is possible and is your birthright. To break intergenerational cycles, for not only myself; but also my teenage daughter and future generations.
My inspiration-
Some of you will know me as a personal trainer from Wanaka Body for over a decade. My inspiration then was to share my passion with fitness and inspire other mama’s to become fit, healthy and confident in their own skin after having a child. This was my mission since I gave birth to my daughter Indie in 2012 at 24 years old. I wanted to create connection and community and offer something that wasn’t available at the time.
Now my mission has pivoted and expanded. I once thought that all we had to worry about was what we ate and how we moved our body. Now I understand that it is so much deeper than that. It is holistic. It is in my belief that we must also focus on our mental, emotional, spiritual and energetic health too. Without a balance, we quickly can become unwell.
My new journey to get to where I am today (I didn’t know it at the time) was initiated in 2017 when I got really unwell with depression, anxiety + burnout + losing my cycle for 2.5 years.
What started as a parasitic infection lead me down a path to learning about the mind/body connection as I came to the realisation that these physical symptoms were manifestations of unprocessed + suppressed emotion. When the western medical system didn’t have answers for me, I went down my own path of healing and got my cycle back, dissipated the anxiety + depression and burnout with alternative modalities. The work I do now has completely transformed my life and I am so blessed that I get to share it with others on their path to healing.
What does healing mean to me?
I believe it means taking your power back. Taking it back from the people, places and things that we gave it away to. Knowing that we are our own healers and that we have everything we need within us to come back to ourselves and our true essence. We are not inherently broken. We never were, we just need to bring back the parts of ourselves that we have pushed away and to love and accept them as they are. All parts of us awe welcome. Reminding ourselves that we are deeply worthy simply because we exist.
