THE RISE

Fast forward 8 months and I truly didn’t think I would be where I am right now. I truly thought 2020 was my last year in physical form on this planet. Hectic call but it is what I did believe at the time.

Today, I can really say I am SO PROUD of myself for picking myself up and rebuilding my mind, body and spirit. For having courage to do the work. To do the hard thing. The work NEVER stops. I like to use the analogy of an onion. Once you peel back a layer of the onion, you reveal more, and you keep going. It is an ongoing, life long process and that’s ok. They say ignorance is bliss but as Carl Jung would say- there is no coming to consciousness without pain. I feel like my journey to healing is only just begun but I am so excited about the future and for what life has in store for me.

I have never been able to stop and look back and reflect and be proud of everything that I have achieved. I can now. For that I am grateful. (Gratitude is becoming a bit of a theme). I have honestly never been happier in my life than I am right now.

The funny thing is I am the least financially abundant that I have been in years. Having to rebuild from the ground up after having a thriving business when money wasn’t an issue, to now working a couply jobs and side hustles but I am richer than I have ever known in every other way. In love, in compassion, in beautiful friends and family, in the deepest gratitude for nature and life force that surrounds us daily. I know that this financial hiccup is only temporary and prosperity is coming. This I am certain of and I have consciously chosen to allow this to flow into my life. I’ve worked hard for it before and I will do it again with purpose, passion and drive. For now i’m enjoying the ride.

I know what the recipe is to happiness and it’s not what i previously thought or was led to believe. This is something we all have to find out for ourselves. You have the POWER inside yourself.

Last note for today-

Everything in life is impermanent.

Life is impermanent.

Nothing stays the same.

Everything is CONSTANTLY changing.

Do your best to live an equanimous life free from craving and aversion. Easier said than done but we can only do the best we can daily. A few of these realizations were made clear to me whilst sitting ten day silent Vipassana meditation retreats. I’ve done two so far and I plan to sit more when the time is right. This is also something that has to be experienced to understand. Logically you can if it’s explained but the experience is where the true understanding reveals itself.

Everything that arises will pass away. Everything.

When you think you will never get to the other side of hardship. You WILL. “This too shall pass”

The mind is FAR MORE POWERFUL than you may think.

Your external world is a reflection of your internal world.

You can make a conscious choice to change your thoughts. This takes work, but you can actually live and have the life that you desire if you BELIEVE and have FAITH that you are worthy and deserving of it, because you ARE. First we actually have to decide what we want. Many of us don’t even know what that is. So take the time to sit with yourself and let your vision come into fruition. Remembering that if you visualize what you desire, your mind doesn’t actually know the difference between what has or hasn’t happened yet, so you have the power to create the life you want. We just need to be on the same frequency and vibration that of which we want. Where energy goes energy flows. Truly.

If you want to delve more into the understanding of this Dr Joe Dispenza is incredible. He actually cured and healed his own broken back purely through meditation and visualisation within the mind. To be fair he is a chiropractor so already has a wealth of knowledge and understanding of the structural framework of the body, but after he was told he needed surgery and rods in his back to be able to walk again, he refused and recovered fully within the space of a few months. He talks about the quantum field and how everything in the universe is made up of subatomic particles such as electrons and we have the power to redirect them into which we desire. There is infinite possibility.

This post came up today which is very fitting- https://www.instagram.com/p/CNnfXlGFv4J/

Be TRUE to yourself and who you are. As soon as you do this, life flows how it should and you attract into your life what is for you. When I strayed from the truth of who I was, literally my life started to fall apart. I’m back on track and for the first time in my life learning to stand in my truth.

I have begun to explore more in regards to energy. We as well as all things are made up of energy. Hence why we are all one and all connected. Everything. It’s made me curious, so much so that I have just completed my Reiki Level One certification. This is something that really makes sense to me and resonates with me.

My journey through life thus far has really revealed to me that we are more than just mind and body. More importantly we are not just a physical body. In the past I’ve put most of my focus and attention on the physical and ignored the mental, emotional and spiritual body. Purely for the fact that I wasn’t aware of anything else at that time. Each one of those areas make up our entire being. If we neglect one or some of those areas we can so easily fall out of balance. I’m making a conscious effort to place importance on treating every human being holistically instead of just focusing on one aspect.

Reiki is a spiritual healing art with its roots in Japanese origin. The word Reiki comes from the Japanese word (Rei) which means “Universal Life” and (Ki) which means “Energy”. Reiki is not affiliated with any particular religion or religious practice. It is not massage nor is it based on belief or suggestion. It is a subtle and effective form of energy work using spiritually guided life force energy.

Reiki is the life energy that flows through all living things. I believe and understand that everyone has the ability to connect with their own healing energy and use it to strengthen energy in themselves and help others. It is believed that a person’s “ki” or energy should be strong and free flowing. When this is true a person’s body and mind is in a positive state of health. When the energy becomes weak or blocked it could lead to symptoms of physical or emotional imbalance.

Reiki is a way of bringing the body back into homeostasis, mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually. It has the potential to speed up our bodies natural healing process up to 4 times of its regular rate. Relaxation is a huge benefit and it allows the body to go into altered states of consciousness. It brings the body into an Alpha state which is the state that we go into when we meditate. A state of deep rest. A one hour session recharges your body equivalent to 4 hours of sleep. This is a few of the many epic things about it but I want to be able to treat and meet everyone’s needs. Something that needs to be experienced to understand but if that is something that speaks to you then I would love to share it with you.

Once again thank you to everyone that has helped me when I needed them the most. Eternal love and gratitude to you. These writings were never intended to be harmful in anyway or to place me in the position of a “victim” quite the opposite, my only hope is that it gives you hope and strength that when things aren’t going as you planned (truth is, nothing in life usually does, note to self. let go, let go, and keep letting go some more) you have the strength and power within to rise from the ashes and FLY.

With love and gratitude always-

Tawna
