THE LAW OF NATURE

Witnessing nature today from the safety and comfort of my iso hut- the storm, the wind, the pouring rain. Then in rapid contrast, observing the rapid change just minutes later. The weather shifted into calm and into stillness. The sunshine appeared in all its glory through fragments in the clouds.

Nature does a beautiful job at showing us that everything is constantly changing and that nothing stays the same. This observation enabled me to reflect on the similarity to our everchanging emotions.

Really similar to the experience I had with my emotions today. Tired, joyful, sad, an eruption of tears and release at different times throughout the day. Only then to discover that there’s peace, calm and joy on the other side of it.

It has confirmed to me; that in my experience, that we must allow ourselves to experience and feel our full expression of our broad spectrum of emotions. This is part of the human experience.

Each one is apart of us.

Once they’re felt, we no longer have to carry the heavy burden that they can imprint on our minds, bodies, heart and souls. We have the power to release and be set free from the not so comfortable emotions. If we choose. If we choose to repress and allow them to seep into our cells, they have the potential to manifest in physical or mental sickness. I know this to be true in my experience.

This journey is showing me once again, just like my vipassana experiences that we ARE nature.

We are meant to live in accordance to the laws of nature.

Just like nature is constantly changing and going through seasons- so are we.

We are the lakes, the rivers, the mountains, the ocean, the forests.

Our life flows when we move with the flow of nature- remembering that “nature doesn’t hurry, yet everything is accomplished”- Lao Tzu.

If we do this, I believe we align with the life we want to live and the life we desire makes it’s way to us.

We don’t have to go searching or force it. It naturally gravitates towards us and we are magnets to it. We must SURRENDER, let go of control and let go of grasping.

If something wants to leave, let it. It was never for you anyway.

If you open your heart and allow love to flow in and out, what is truly meant for you will arrive and stay.

Remember- you are nature, we are one with everything on the planet.

What is meant for you will not pass you by.

What is meant for you will not pass you by.

What is meant for you will not pass you by.

Nature is our greatest teacher.
